Quantum of Solace Coming to DS, First Look

The upcoming Bond game from Acitivision will put gamers in the role of Daniel Craig as he battles through episodes pulled from the Hollywood fims Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. While the console versions are already looking very nice, gamers will also be given the option to take 007 on the go, thanks to a planned Nintendo DS version. The handheld title will bring a fresh approach to the on-screen action , with an entirely new gameplay system and control scheme that makes heavy use of the stylus for input. From the new screenshots provided by the publisher, it appears that Quantum of Solace DS will be played like Ninja Gaiden -- in the book orientation, with a map located on the touch screen side and the action playing out from an overhead perspective on the right-hand screen.
